Two Short Storeys

Located within the Riverdale Park East community on the Bridgepoint Hospital campus, Two Short Storeys Daycare provides a nurturing learning environment for children from six months to four years of age. Inspired by the surrounding parklands, the design creates a strong connection to nature while supporting exploration, creativity, and early childhood development.

  • The interior is organized around a clear wayfinding strategy, with each classroom identified by a colour-coded park house form that helps children navigate the space according to their age group. Within the classrooms, interactive wall elements are thoughtfully integrated to encourage fine motor development, collaboration, and imaginative play.

    Drawing on extensive experience in childcare design, C& Partners Architects developed both the wayfinding system and the overall aesthetic vision. Playful graphics and nature-inspired elements are woven throughout the environment, creating a safe, engaging, and memorable sense of place that fosters curiosity and supports learning through exploration.
